The past 2 years have been amazing. Together we have made such a difference in the fight against breast cancer. But it is time for a new challenge…
In 2015 we made Remember Betty an independent foundation that focuses on raising funds to minimize the financial burden associated with breast cancer for patients & survivors so that they can focus on recovery & quality of life.
This is an exciting time for Remember Betty. We can directly impact the lives of women struggling with breast cancer. We can help women and men who are fighting this horrible disease and truly make a difference. This requires a bigger commitment from all of us. We have to be more organized, focused, and committed. Now this is personal! The money we raise could end up helping a sister, a friend, a neighbor, FAMILY!
I miss Elizabeth “Betty” Wood everyday, but she has become a beacon of light that overshadows breast cancer. Betty is your mother, sister, family member, or friend that fights against this disease, Betty is a symbol and she lives in all of us. I know this because I see what she means to all of you. I see her in everyone that is a part of Remember Betty.
I used to say I would trade all the good that has come my way for one more day with my mother, Betty. But I wouldn’t. She would never want that. She would want us to fight and to believe we can make a difference.
We have made a difference and in 2017 we will continue to grow, raise more money, and help those in need!
I love you Mom and I love all of you!
Thank you for all of your support,
Founder & President, The Remember Betty Foundation
