Remember Betty provides direct financial support to breast cancer patients and survivors by paying bills directly and, in certain cases, providing gift cards, gift certificates, and chemo care packs.

In order to formally apply for assistance from Remember Betty, a small amount of paperwork is required.

  1. Our completed application: Download Here   ** Applications are accepted from the 1st through the 10th of each month only.
  2. A letter from your oncologist or surgeon that confirms your diagnosis of breast cancer, or a copy of your pathology report.
  3. Copies of the bills that you are requesting assistance with, if applicable. Please note that bills need to include either pay by phone information or a payment slip to accompany a check. In the case of rental assistance, a copy of your lease must be included.
  4. A short personal note from the patient or survivor on how breast cancer has affected their life.

Assistance categories and maximums are listed on our application. If you are applying for housing, medical or gift card assistance, you may NOT apply for additional categories.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please note that due to the volume of applications received, we cannot provide confirmation of receipt. All applications MUST be signed by the applicant. Applications signed by family members, social workers or patient advocates will not be considered.

Please note that applications are accepted from the 1st through the 10th of each month only. Applications received after that time cannot be considered and will not be held over to the following month. Applications will be reviewed by the 17th of the month. Applicants will be notified by the 20th of the month. Assistance will be disbursed by the end of the month.

You do NOT need to be in active treatment to be considered for assistance.

After receiving assistance, you may reapply 12 months from the date of your original grant approval.
