Bowl a strike to help win the fight against breast cancer!
As part of our commitment to charity and greater public works, Kings Bowl has partnered with the Remember Betty Foundation and New Kids on the Block’s Danny Wood in the month of October! All our staff will be wearing pink and encouraging our guests to #BowlForBetty, to raise awareness of the struggles survivors of breast cancer and those in treatment have to face.
For every strike that our guests bowl, Kings will donate $100 to the Remember Betty Foundation. In addition, we’ll be giving away 2 autographed Danny Wood bowling pins every Saturday in all our stores, for a total of 8 big winners!

The mission of the Remember Betty Foundation is to help minimize the financial burden associated with breast cancer for patients and survivors by providing direct financial support to them so that they can focus on recovery and quality of life. Remember Betty is a cause near and dear to our hearts at Kings, having been founded by Boston-based hometown hero and musician Danny Wood following the death of his mother Betty from breast cancer in 1999. Throughout his solo career, Danny has partnered with well-known breast cancer charities to help raise funds for research and early detection.
Since the 2008 return of NKOTB, Danny has been committed to telling the story of his mother and her fight against cancer on a global stage. Fans have started walking and raising money directly for these charities at breast cancer awareness races across the US and Canada in 2009. In 2015, Remember Betty became an independent foundation, growing stronger every year and helping countless of lives touched by breast cancer.
At Kings, we are touched and honored to be involved in the charitable works of a man who has brought joy to millions through his songs and eased the burden on families struggling with such a frightening diagnosis. You can do your part to Remember Betty simply by stopping by your local Kings Bowl and taking part in what we do best: Great food, drink and fun for a good cause.
